Everyone knows that soccer is one of most popular sports on the world, and probably the most popular in Europe. So...
Some time ago I've come up with an idea of making...soccer leagues in Tibia. I don't think it's a good thing to post on the proposals board.
Each server would be a "league" and the teams would have some time to register.
There would be like 10 or 20 teams in each League and they'd play against each other in scheduled matches. Each server would vote for possible referees, and teams would vote for the staff. Of course transfers would also be possible, to make it less boring for the players and also more realistic. There'd be a problem about inter-league transfers, but oh, the teams represent their leagues (yes, I have an idea for that too). There would be a thread with the table standings at each gameworld's board, with a calendar that would tell the dates of matches.
So:
THERE WOULD BE GROUPS BY LEVELS, ONCE THE MATCH WILL BE PLAYED BY LOWER ONES, OTHER TIME BY HIGHER, WHICH WOULD BE MENTIONED IN THE CALENDAR:
- Levels 8 ~ 20 (THOSE ARE JUST EXAMPLES)
- Levels 20 ~ 50
- Levels 51 ~ 70
- Levels 71 ~ 100
- Levels 101 ~ 150
- Levels 151 and higher
TEAMS
Each team needs a coach, 5 outfielders + GK, 2 players + GK on the bench, and of course the owner, lol.
INTER-LEAGUE MATCHES
They'd be played by 2 or 3 best teams of each league, and without help of Cipsoft we'd need to play them during public Test Servers.
TRANSFERS
Inter-league transfers seem to be impossible unless the character transfer which players cry about goes implemented. So they'd be kept inside the leagues.
MATCH LENGTH
Of course matches would not be 90 minutes long. They'd be 10-15 minutes each with a 2-3 minutes half-time break. Extra time would be 5 minutes, without half-time.
IF YOU HAVE OTHER IDEAS ABOUT THIS, JUST POST. DON'T FLAME. OF COURSE YOU CAN CRITICISE THE POSTED IDEAS, BUT DO IT KINDLY AND ALWAYS EXPLAIN WHY IS IT WRONG IN YOUR OPINION.
This is an action to teach players to work together, because we hear so much about stealing, "hacking", and such in this game. Let's make this game fun!
